The Tennessee Historical Society has published the state's history since 1849, including the journals American Historical Magazine (1896-1904), Tennessee Historical Magazine(1915-1937), and the Tennessee Historical Quarterly(1942-present). We also present books on the state in partnership with the University of Tennessee Press.
