Tennessee Historical QuarterlyEstablished in 1942, the Tennessee Historical Quarterly (THQ) appears four times a year. The illustrated articles cover all aspects of Tennessee history, from first European contact to the late 20th century, and all regions of the state, while books reviews cover the latest publications on Tennessee history and related topics. The journal also often includes edited primary documents. Articles are reviewed by scholarly experts before publication, ensuring that the finest articles on Tennessee appear in the THQ.
