Ludwig M. Deppisch, M.D. is Emeritus Professor of Pathology at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. Presently he is completing his master's degree in history at the University of Arizona in Tucson. In the late 1990s, Deppisch led a study of the causes of Jackson's illnesses and death that was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
